A crush, a launch and a rabbi...

[OK, there's no rabbi. Sorry.]

Crush: I have a total crush on Rory. I started reading him when he was blogging the Applied XML Conference (look, it's not like you didn't know I was a huge lumbering geek...so stop looking all weird.) Since then (all 4 days), I've fallen in love with his writing style: funny, unadorned, and smart. He's so cool, he hosts Stephen Hawking's blog. Sadly, he's in Seattle, I'm...here, he's a boy, I'm...a tomboy. It would never work. But still, I can read him and that's good enough for me.

Launch: Mensagirl's been replaced, and she's raring to go. Hop on over and ask her things. She likes that.

Weird: I've been noticing Weblogs.com has been getting weird updates from a whole 50 blogs on blogspot at once, which are linked to Lapdance.com. They're state wide guides to strip clubs (50, for each state...right?), and all of them are promoing Lapdance.com. I think this is the beginning of weblogs being used as spam. This cannot be good.

Stupid: I've taking to yelling "H.R. Fuckin'Fuck!" in my head when I do something stupid. This led to my decision that should I ever find, in the middle of my midlife crisis, that I missed my calling as Eminem, I want to call myself "H.R. Fuck U up."

Stupid >> Related: A friend told me the other day that due to my excessive bandana-around-the-head-wearing due to my new, long, curly blonde hair (i.e., I haven't cut it in 6 months), I'm starting to look like the "Amish Eminem."
